Cup of tea with semi-skimmed milk and sugar (typically 225ml)

The tea itself contains less than 1 calorie. This will be less than 1% of the Reference Intake (RI) for calories and none of the Reference Intake for sugars.

From the label you can see that if you add 25ml of semi-skimmed milk this will be 1% of the Reference Intake for calories and just over 1% of the Reference Intake for sugars.

If you’re adding sugar don’t forget to think about those calories too. A teaspoon makes up 1% of the Reference Intake for calories and 4% of the Reference Intake for sugars.
